Pedophile Teacher – Repeat Sex Offender

A CONVICTED paedophile, who received an 18-month suspended sentence in December 2006 for sexually molesting boys while he was a teacher at a primary school in George, has been arrested again.

He was arrested last weekend after another young victim claimed he had been molested.

The man appeared in the George Magistrate‘s Court yesterday for a bail application .

“His arrest came after another alleged under-aged victim came forward and claimed he was molested between December 2008 and May this year,” Southern Cape police spokesman Captain Malcolm Pojie said.

The middle-aged man, who cannot be named as he has not yet pleaded, was remanded until Monday while police investigate two other possible suspects in the case.

In December 2006, the man was charged in the Thembalethu Magistrate‘s Court for sexually interfering with three 12-year-old boys while coaching sports at the George primary school.

The man, described in a psychologist‘s report to the court as a paedophile, was given an 18-month suspended sentence and five years‘ correctional service.

Sources said the latest alleged victim was a friend of the accused‘s son.

Pojie said it was possible bail would be withheld if it was found that the man had contravened the restrictions imposed on him in terms of his 2006 sentence.

The mother of the alleged victim said yesterday she was “very angry” about the alleged molestation and was “extremely worried” about her son, who had become withdrawn and anti-social.

Donald R. Peppers – Baby Raper – making pornography with 1 year old

The FBI has arrested a Hoffman Estates man and charged him with filming himself sexually abusing a baby and distributing the film.

Donald R. Peppers, 35, of the 500 block of Mesa Drive, faces federal charges of manufacture of child pornography and two counts of distribution of child pornography, according to an FBI statement. If convicted, he could spent 15 to 30 years in prison.

Peppers appeared Thursday in federal court in Iowa, where he was arrested. Authorities will transport him to Chicago where he’ll make a future court appearance, federal officials in Iowa said.

An undercover FBI agent searching for sexual predators on the Internet encoutnered Peppers on a sexually explicit Web site on May 17, and the agent began chatting with him via instant-messaging, the FBI said.

Using the handle “illinoisdonboy31,” Peppers sent the FBI agent images and videos of young children sexually abused by adults, according to the FBI complaint filed Wednesday.

Peppers also wrote messages detailing his fantasies about abusing a 1-year-old boy who was occasionally left in his care, the FBI said, adding Peppers was frustrated he didn’t enough time alone with the child before the child’s parent returned. Peppers also sent the agent non-pornographic photos of the child, the FBI said.

According to the FBI, Peppers dreamed about raping babies, and wrote he would buy a baby from a drug addict so “we could do whatever we want to him.”

Then on June 1, the FBI said Peppers sent the undercover agent a video file showing him fondling the baby he took care of.

“I send you something you promise never ever share it?” Peppers allegedly wrote in a message typed before the video was sent.

It’s unclear where the abuse was taking place.

The FBI contacted Peppers’ Internet service provider, Comcast, which provided records tracing Peppers’ screen name to his Hoffman Estates’ address, the FBI said. Hoffman Estates police Lt. Rich Russo said Peppers had no previous police record in the village.

A search of Peppers’ Hoffman Estates condo revealed the discovery of an “extensive” collection of DVDs, photographs and video tapes containing child pornography, the FBI added.

Agents arrested him Wednesday afternoon without incident in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where Peppers had been on business. Authorities said they located him there after contacting the Chicago-area printing company where he works.

Peppers was arrested as part of the FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force, established in 1996 aimed to halt the production, distribution and possession of children pornography. The agency has 43 similar cases being investigated across the country, according to the FBI.

Robert Kolibas – Repeat Sex Offender – Wasn’t on Public Registry

A Williston man convicted of sexually exploiting children in Florida is facing new charges in Vermont.

Police say this is a case where the sex offender registry in Florida provided no protection to the public, and now the police are trying to determine how many children may have been victimized in Vermont.

The investigation started last weekend in a Williston neighborhood. Police say a 13-year-old girl spending the night with a friend was molested by her friend’s father, 50-year-old Robert Kolibas.

Police who went to the house, confronted Kolibas, and quickly learned Kolibas is on Florida’s sex offender registry for disseminating pornography to a child in that state five years ago. But that crime did not qualify him to be on Vermont’s registry when he moved here.

But before police could arrest him, Kolibas fled only to be captured two days later in Maine near the Canadian border.

Police seized five computers from Kolibas home that are now being examined for evidence of other victims.

For now Kolibas is being held in Maine on $50,000 Bail awaiting extradition back to Vermont to face charges.

Police would like to hear from anyone else with information about any activities at the Kolibas home.
