A disbarred Wilmington lawyer is back in trouble with the law after authorities again found child pornography on a computer in his home.

Kenneth Fink, a 47-year-old registered sex offender, remains jailed on child pornography charges following his arrest last month by New Castle County police after state probation and parole officers found a computer in his Talleyville home.

Detectives were contacted April 3 by state officers after a routine check of Fink’s home in the 1000 block of Parkside Drive in Oaklane Manor revealed several computers. He was under a court order that prohibited him from accessing the Internet.

An examination of the computers turned up explicit images of young girls, believed to be about 10 years old, which authorities say Fink obtained using the Internet, county police spokesman Lt. Patrick Crowell said.

He was charged with parole violation and 10 counts of unlawfully dealing in child pornography, then held in Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Fink was convicted in 2002 of 15 counts each of possessing child pornography and using a computer to unlawfully depict children engaging in prohibited sexual acts.

He was sentenced to eight years in prison.

Authorities found pornographic images on Fink’s computer while investigating charges that he had stolen more than $57,000 from an estate he handled as co-executor in 1993 and 1994.

A year later he was prohibited by the Delaware Supreme Court from practicing law.

A man who posed as a teenager on the Internet to lure a 14-year-old girl to a spot where he tried to kidnap and molest her was sentenced to 26 years in prison Friday.

William Lee Pait Jr., 41, of Bladenboro, entered an Alford plea in Cumberland County Superior Court. That means he did not admit he did what he was charged with, but acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him of first-degree kidnapping and taking indecent liberties with a minor.

At the time of the October attack in Fayetteville, Pait was on probation for a similar incident in Bladen County in 2004 and was on the N.C. Sex Offender Registry.

As part of the sentence he was given Friday, Pait will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device for the rest of his life once he gets out of prison.

According to investigators, Pait posed as a 17-year-old boy on the MySpace Web networking site and arranged to meet the girl while she was spending the night with a friend in Fayetteville,

As the two girls were walking to the meeting site, the victim’s friend got scared and turned back, according to evidence presented during Pait’s sentencing hearing.

When the 14-year-old girl got to Pait’s vehicle, he tried to force her inside and fondled her as she struggled to get away, according to testimony.

The victim’s mother said in court that her daughter had bruises on her arms and neck from the struggle and that Pait banged the girl’s head on his truck, leaving a knot on his forehead.

The 14-year-old’s mother said her daughter no longer feels safe. She’s had to change schools and her grades have fallen.

Pait, the mother said, was posing as teenager “with a fast and flashy car.”

“What were your intentions toward my daughter?” the mother asked Pait in court Friday, her voice rising in anger.

Given a chance to address the court, Pait said he had nothing to say.
