  1. Your way off on your percentage there!!!

NOTE: 90% of sex offenders are family members, 97% are male, 1.5% of convicted sex offenders re offend. So the odds are YOU are more of a threat to commit a sex offense than a “sex offender”. So what are the next set of laws going to be?

  2. You need to look at YOUR statistics again. One out of every four sex offenders reoffend within 15 years. NO one has ever claimed the recidivism rate was 1.5% not even a short term study.

90% of sex offenders are NOT family members. Actually that figure is less than 50%, although approximately 90% ARE either a family member or someone known to the victim. IE friend of the family, neighbor, Mom’s boyfriend etc.

The fact that 90% are known to the victim is all the more reason there should be a sex offender registry. Uncle George doesn’t usually tell his nieces and nephews about his history of molesting kids, and your neighbor sure doesn’t, nor does the guy you befriend at work, or the ‘nice’ man you meet that you want to date.

Pull your head out of your whining ass and stop being so selfish. This isn’t about YOU, this is about kids.

And NO, sex offenders are more likely to commit a sex offense than someone who has never committed a sex offense. You sound quite pathetic.

Actually, Sarah Tofte of the Human Rights Watch who is a blame gaming advocate for sex offenders says that the sex offender population which makes up 0.2% of the 300 million people in the USA is committing 13% of all new sex crimes. What do ya know about that?
