Kelli Hussey – Repeat Sex Offender – Likes 12 year olds

Kelli Hussey was previously convicted in April 2002 ,of first-degree sexual abuse in connection with illicit relations with a 12-year-old boy.

A 34-year-old convicted sex offender was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to additional sex charges involving a minor.

Kelli Nicole Hussey, also known as Kelli Champion, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree rape, one count of first-degree sodomy and one count of second-degree rape in connection with illicit relations with a minor.

She was arrested May 31, 2007, following an investigation by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department and the Coffee County Department of Human Resources. Circuit Judge Jeff Kelly sentenced Hussey Friday to 10 years on each charge with each sentence to run concurrently.

Hussey, whose address on the Department of Public Safety Registered Sex Offender Web site is listed as 28 County Road 623, was previously convicted in April 2002 ,of first-degree sexual abuse in connection with illicit relations with a 12-year-old Coffee County boy.

According to prior reports in The Enterprise Ledger, she was sentenced to three years in prison before returning to Coffee County in 2005.

In compliance with state law, Hussey registered with the Alabama Department of Public Safety as a sex offender.

Steven W. Mier – Repeat Sex Offender – Exploits Runaway child

A registered sex offender living in Fond du Lac was arrested Saturday after police found a 16-year-old girl inside his home.

Steven W. Mier, 157 Third St., Apt. 6, is in the Fond du Lac County Jail.

The girl, who police say is a runaway from Madison, was hiding in a closet of the apartment when the Fond du Lac Police Department’s Sex Offender Compliance Team (SOCT) assisted Probation and Parole during a routine check at about 9 p.m.

The SOCT is a group of police officers who work with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections to routinely check on registered sex offenders in Fond du Lac to assure they are complying with regulations.

On Nov. 16, 1999, Mier, 29, was sentenced in Calumet County to eight years in prison on one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child, according to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Web site.

Police also found explicit photos of children on his cell phone, Klein said.

“I think this just shows how effective the Sex Offender Compliance Team can be,” Klein said. “This is exactly why we have these guys out there checking on these (sex offenders) to make sure they are compliant.”

Thomas M. Lee II – Repeat Sex Offender – Child Predator

A previously convicted child molester received an additional 20-year prison sentence Monday after he admitted to molesting another child in a separate case.

Thomas M. Lee II, 31, was charged in February with four counts of child molesting and three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

The girl’s mother called the Indiana State Police after the girl told her mother she had sex with Lee on numerous occasions. The girl later told investigators Lee performed sex acts on her and had sex with her many times between July 2005 and July 2007, according to court documents.

Allen Superior Judge John Surbeck sentenced Lee to 20 years in prison, with the sentence to be served after the 30 years he’s already serving for a 2007 Allen County conviction for child molesting.

Lee also has a child molesting conviction from Vanderburgh County in 1999, according to state records.
