Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Winston-Salem registered sex offender in connection with the rape of an elderly woman last summer.
Fred Miller, III, faces first-degree rape and robbery charges in the rape an elderly woman in her yard on Langden Drive last July.
Investigators said they took DNA evidence from Miller in January after he violated his registration requirements.
Miller is in jail on a $475,000 secured bond.
His next court date is scheduled for March 14.

He has been convicted and incarcerated in the past for raping women and children, maybe he will stay in jail this time!
